90 ARTISTS, 35 COUNTRIES, ONE CONTINENT IN DIALOGUE
The exhibition Diversity United – with venues in Moscow, Berlin and Paris – is dedicated to portraying the artistic face of Europe, presenting a forum for artistic dialogue and solidarity. It focuses on the the vitality and diversity of the contemporary European art scene since the fall of the Iron Curtain until the present day. The exhibition has brought together works from the genres of painting, sculpture, video and new media, photography, installations, drawing and object art by 90 established and emerging artists from across the entire continent of Europe, spanning generations, genders and regions. Diversity United addresses themes such as freedom and dignity, dialogue and conflict, political and personal identity, democracy and its erosion, (fear of) the future, solidarity and separation, the current pandemic and its consequences.
